RCCEA Oireachtas 2024

Event Info

2024 RCCEA Oireachtas and Grades Feis will be hosted by STEYsha School of Irish Dance at Centrul de Evenimente Lux Divina, Brașov, Romania.
The competition will occur from November 29th to December 1st, 2024.

Travelling to Brașov

  • Bucharest Airport train to North Train station: exit the airport on the upper floor arrivals. The train platform is right outside, on the left side, in a suspended platform with green covering. The train runs every 40 minutes and the ride takes approximately 25 minutes. You can pay your trip by card in the train, or purchase an online ticket or at the terminal ticket kiosk. The price is 5.5 lei (1.11 euro).
  • Bucharest Airport to Brașov – for transfer arrangements, please contact Ro Team Tour. Include the name of the traveler(s), flight details, and mention that it is for Brașov Oireachtas 2024. They will take care of the rest.
  • Train Bucharest – Brașov – there are more than 30 trains a day between the two cities. The average trip duration is between 2.5 hours to 3 hours. We recommend this as the fastest way of getting to Brașov. On your way back to Bucharest, we recommend you opt for trains that start their trip in Brașov, rather than the ones coming from further away. You can check the train schedule and buy online tickets.

Brașov-Ghimbav Airport is a new airport, so more international flights are expected to be added to it throughout the year.

Update April 16th:

Brașov Airport has announced new connections with the company Fly Lili, as follows:

  • Starting June 15th: München, Nürnberg, Stuttgart, Roma (also Salonic & Istanbul)
  • Starting July: Milano, Barcelona and some France and Israel connections.

We recommend you reserve extra time should you wish to drive there, as traffic might be heavy in some areas, depending on the time of the day. Parking is available at the venue, as well as in some of the event hotels. However, parking within the city is not always available.

Hotels - Official accommodation

The venue, Centrul de Evenimente Lux Divina has its own 3-star hotel, which we will prioritise for bookings by our international guests until June 1st, 2024. Check the PDF below for the full official accommodation list with preferred event rates:
